Be a Volunteer!

Downtown Garden City has many opportunities for you to participate in the revitalization and preservation efforts that recognize Garden City’s unique character. Four committees form the framework for the community-driven approach: Organization, Promotion, Design, and Economic Restructuring. Volunteers are involved in many of the activities such as the annual spring planting “Garden City In Bloom” and the latest event “Downtown Days”. Currently, the Design Committee is looking at ways to enhance and improve public space in the downtown. The Volunteer Sign-up Form describes the activities of each of the four committees and requires a couple hours monthly of your time.
