About the DDA
Mayor Randy Walker, CEO
Mr. Walker is the current Mayor of Garden City, Michigan. He was elected in November of 2009. He has previously served for two years on the city council.
John Prosch, Chairman
Owner of PKSA Karate in Garden City. Vice Chair Prosch has been the owner/operator of PKSA Karate in Garden City for over six years. He has volunteered his time for the Santaland Parade, the Promotion Committe, the Executive Commitee, and the Board of Trustees. Bruce Boland, Treasurer
Co-Owner of Boland Florist. Trustee Boland has been a member of the Board since 2001. He has served as the Chair, the Secretary, and the Treasurer, and on numerous committees. Boland Florist has been in business in Downtown Garden City for two generations. Treasurer Boland is currently a member of the Board, the Executive Committee, the Garden Plaza and Towne Center Parking Lot sub-committe, and the Commons Revelopment sub-committee. Bob Squires, Vice Chairman
Member of Mayor's Committee for Underprivileged children, American Legion Riders, and Santaland Parade Commitee. Trustee Squires is active in many different community groups. Squires is a part of the promotion committee, the executive commitee, and the Board of Trustees for almost eight years. Those wishing to contact him may e-mail him at crazybob57@aol.com.
Dash Desai
Business Administrator and Certified Nurse, Garden City Medical Center. Trustee Desai is the newest member of the DDA Board, having been appointed in Fall of 2007. The Medical Center purchased the old library site and is currently building a new center on the property. Dash is a member of the Board. John Santeiu, Jr.
Of Santeiu and Sons Funeral Home. John has been on the DDA board since it was formed. He is also a volunteer and board member for the Straight Farm House and Garden City Historical Museum. Those wishing to contact him may e-mail him at mosujohn@sbcglobal.net
Brian Lindbloom
Of State Farm, Lindbloom Agency. Trustee Lindbloom has been a member of the DDA Board for some years. He recently finished serving a term as Chairman for the Board. Orin Mazzoni, Jr.
Mr. Mazzoni is the owner of Orin Jewelers of Garden City and Northville. Trustee Mazzoni has been on the DDA Board since it was started. A long-time business owner, Mazzoni Jr. has served as the Chairman previously. He is a part of the Market Analysis Selection sub-committee.
